Allow access from certain countries
If you want to make your store available only to customers in certain regions, you can set up an allowlist by restricting all countries except the ones you select. This ensures only visitors from approved countries can access your store.
When to Use Allowed Countries
You may want to allow only specific countries if:
- You only sell and ship products in selected regions.
- You want to limit access during a phased rollout.
- You need to comply with regulatory restrictions.
Steps to Allow Specific Countries

- Log in to your Shopify Admin
- Go to Apps → Securify – Block IP & Country.
- Navigate to Country Restriction
- Click Country Restriction from the app’s top navigation.
- Select the Countries You Want to Allow
- Use the search box to find and add the countries where you want to allow access.
- Restrict All Except Selected
- Click Restrict all except selected.
- This will block visitors from every other country, allowing access only to your chosen list.
- Review Allowed/Blocked Countries
- Your selections will appear under Restricted Countries for confirmation.
What Happens Next?
- Visitors outside of your allowed countries will be blocked automatically.
- Blocked attempts will still appear in Visitor Intelligence and Blocked Visitors Logs.
- Visitors from your allowed countries will continue to access your store normally.
